Welcome to AlignBooks. We are happy to have you on board. In this help studio tutorial, we will explore the Create Company options.
In this set-up you are required to provide the details to create new company from Main Dashboard (On top left side), Click this button to create or select a Company. We want you to work fast with accuracy at your command. With this in mind, we have aligned multiple companies in one platform so at a click of a button you can swap and change companies. If you have open more than one Company, always select a company for which you want to make transaction entries or view reports. Each company you add will be a separate paid subscription, you can access them all with the same login info. This lets you quickly switch between companies so you can manage everything more efficiently.
Click here to create a new company. The system will prompt to a new window, enter the required details.
Business Type
Select “Business Type” from Drop Down list. As you can see, we have already identified Eighteen categories that you may have as your business model. Options available are :
None (Default)
Books & Stationary
Electronics
Garment Store
Food Restaurant
Hotels
Job work Repair
Mobile Store
Pharmacy
Professional Services
Security Services
Tour and Travel
Trading Business
Grocery Store
Manufacturing
Retail Counter
Retail Chain Store
Automobile
You can choose as per your business model, In case if your business model does not match with the given options you can select the "None (Default)" option.
Enter the name of Company for which books of accounts is being maintained. One could use the nick name or abbreviated name of the Company as used in day to day conversation for this column, as printing of company name would not be made on the basis of the name entered here.
Select Default Chart of Account applicable to your Company i.e. Corporate or Non-Corporate. We believe in automation and hence based on your selection we will load a tailor-made chart of account for your data input and analysis. Stay relaxed, you can change add or delete as many accounts as you want.
Click on and the system will create a new company for you with default setup values. Based on the Business Type selected a set of predefine configuration of the Sales/Purchase/Inventory setup, Print/EMail/SMS Configuration will be applied to the company.
Now you can select your newly created company and can start work. If you want to change setup for this Company, you can do that from Company Setup under Configuration module. or Click on to exit this window.
Note: New company created will have Trial period for 15 days after that period you need to purchase Alignbooks subscription to work in new company.
