General Attachment

Welcome to AlignBooks. We are happy to have you on board. In this help studio tutorial, we will explore the “General Attachment” option.
Before we begin, let us understand about the need of General Attachment and the usage of this particular activity.
If you are in Configuration Menu   you need to select  and the screen which appears looks like this;
General Attachment
All existing attached files will be displayed in the Table.

Download File

1. Download File : Click on this button to download the attached file. File will be downloaded to your default download folder.

View File

2. View File : Click on this button to view the attached file.

Delete File

3. Delete File : Click on this button to delete / remove the attached file.


4. Date : Here System will display the date which was selected at time of saving attachment.

File Name

5. File Name : Here System will display the file name of attached file.
Let's understand how to Attach a file;


6. Category  : Select the category from the drop down list.


7. Date : Enter the date which you wish to reflect in the document. By default, the system will take the current date. You can also pick a different date by just clicking on the calendar function.

Select File

8. Select File : Click on the button to browse the file you want to attach.


9. Description : Here Specify the description for the attached file.

Save Attachment

10. Save Attachment : Click on this button to save the attachment.
You can repeat the process to attach file.

Exit Form

11. Exit Form : Click on this button to exit General Attachment form.
