Before we begin, let us understand about the need of Holidays setup and the usage of this particular activity.
 
If you are using HR/Payroll module, setting up the holiday calendar is an important task at the beginning of the year. It helps the HR executives to identify the number of holidays in the month at the time of processing the salary and attendance. 
 
You can also edit and delete an already created set of information with required authorization.
 
The key functions of a Holiday Module are:
·     Creation of a New Holiday;
·     Modification of an existing Holiday;
·     Deletion of an existing Holiday.
 
We will be going through the each of these set of information in detail.
 
Holidays

For Year

Select the relevant year for which you want to prepare list of holidays and click 1. For Year Button.

Description

2. Description Specify the name of holiday.

From Date

3. From Date Specify the start date of holiday. If holiday for single day, then From date and To date should be same.

To Date

4. To Date Specify the end date of holiday. If holiday for single day, then From date and To date should be same.

Remove Row

Click 5. Remove Row  to remove the row.

Add New Row

Click 6. Add New Row to add new row.
 
 
Click on  to Save the values.
 
 
Click on  to clear all values.
 
 
Click on  to revoke changes or change the selection of year.
 
 
Click on  to exit from Holiday Master.
