Panel - Attribute (Item)

 
Welcome to AlignBooks. We are happy to have you on board. In this help studio tutorial, we will explore the Attribute Panel for Item utility. 
 
For the ease of entry in the detail grid, this window automatically open for easily select or enter the details without scrolling through the detail table and searching for each column.
 
Let’s now understand how to enter the details in simple steps:
 
Panel - Attribute (Item)

Sub Item

1. Sub Item: Select an Sub Item code from the drop down list. Click on to add a new Sub Item.

Posting GL

2. Posting GL : If you have created Sales /Purchase Ledgers Item wise, the system will automatically fetch the GL selected by you in Item Master.

Print Description

3. Print Description: System will automatically fetch the Sales Description (in Sales Module) / Purchase Description (in Purchase Module) from the Item Master.

Remark

4. Remark: Input here any remark pertaining to the Item.

Item Attributes

5. Item Attributes : Select the Attribute value from the drop down list for each Item Attribute enabled.
You can create new Attribute if the Type of the respective Attribute is either "Self List" Or "None".

Item Custom Fields

6. Item Custom Fields : Enter the Value for Each Item Custom Fields.
It is mandatory to fill the value if the "Allow Blank" property is "Off" for respective Custom field.

OK

7. OK : Click on this button to accept the values.

Exit

8. Exit : Click on this button to close the form and changes will be accepted.
 
 
After this window is closed the field values will be transferred to the detail table in their respective columns.
