Panel - Investment Detail

 
Welcome to AlignBooks. We are happy to have you on board. In this help studio tutorial, we will explore the Investment Detail utility. 
 
When we talk about investment there are many options in which you can invest but to track the underlying investment detail is equally important as investment for any investor. Here you can keep the track of purchase / sale of investment with their transaction rate.
 
 
Let’s now understand how to enter the Investment details in simple steps:
 
Panel - Investment Detail

Investment Item

1. Investment Item : Select the Investment item from the drop down list for which you want to make investment.
If your desired Investment Item does not exist in the menu, you can create a New Investment Item by clicking on option within the dropdown menu.
and the screen will look like this;
 
 
Name : Name of Investment / Security / Bond / Debentures.
Code: System will generate code for the item.
Inactive: Select “ON” if you want to make a Investment Item inactive. During any business transaction such inactive investment names will not appear in your list of Investment name. You can reactivate vendor again by selecting “OFF”.
Type : Select the Type of Investment from the drop down list.
 
Save : Click on this button to Save the values.
Delete : Click on this button to delete existing investment item.

Quantity

2. Quantity : Enter the Quantity of Investment type. Like Total No. of Shares/Debentures purchase / sold for the item.

<TODO : Control Name>

3. <TODO : Control Name>  : Here Enter the Rate in which the investment is purchase / sold.

Amount

4. Amount : System will calculate the Amount automatically with multiplication for Quantity * Rate.

OK Button

5. OK Button : Click here to accept the changes made in the form.
 
After this window is closed, the field values will be saved with the document and you can review the report for Investment detail and summary for each investment item.
