Panel - Serial Detail
Welcome to AlignBooks. We are happy to have you on board. In this help studio tutorial, we will explore the Serial Detail utility.
In some industries you need to maintain product serial number as the manufacturer identifies those products on the basis of serial numbers only. Example – Electronic Items like Computers, printers, Mobile Set etc. From this Panel you can maintain product serial numbers within your Inventory items.
Let’s now understand how to enter the details in simple steps:
: Here Scan the IMEI 1 Number or Enter First Serial Number manually. Serial / IMEI 2 : Here Scan the IMEI 2 Number or Enter Second Serial Number manually.This field will be available if you have configured No of Serial Fields : "Two" or "Three" in Inventory Setup.

 Serial / IMEI 3 : Here Scan the IMEI 3 Number or Enter Third Serial Number manually.This field will be available if you have configured No of Serial Fields : "Three" in Inventory Setup.

 Pack Quantity : Enter the quantity here, By Default System will take one Quantity.This field will be available if you have configured Separate Packing Unit : "ON" in Inventory Setup. Also, in selected item Separate Packing Unit : "ON" in Item Master.

: Click on this button to move the set of serial details to table below. Import (Excel File) : Click on this button to Import Data and select a file from which Data is to be imported. Click here “Import Utility”, to know more about this utility. |
: Click on this button to accept the serial details input prepared by you. 
: Click on this button to exit serial detail panel.After this window is closed, the field values will be saved with the document and you can review the various Serial reports.
