Before we begin, let us understand about the need of User Menu Level Rights and the usage of this particular activity.
AlignBooks has now enhanced the functionality of User Management system as User Roles and Permission could be managed at Menu level with in the Module. You can assign with specific rights for each configuration/Master/Transaction/Reports for their individual actions.
In this way you can define as many combinations for User Roles to perform their actions.
Let us now understand how to provide the rights for each section;
User Name
: Select the Name of User from the drop down list to which you want to assign the rights.
: As per the permissions provided to User for Transaction Module from Manage User, Module wise list of transactions will be displayed and you can enable check box for each Transaction of that module with their specific actions to View, Create New, Modify, Delete, Print, Export, and Schedule etc.
For Example: Transaction Module rights for Sales are given to user and you want to give rights to create / View Sales Invoice only. Then enable the check box against Sales Invoice for Allowed and New Action. User will not be permitted for any other action for Sales invoice and no other transaction will be visible to User.
: As per the permissions provided to User for Master Modification from Manage User, Module wise List of all masters will be displayed and you can allow for each Master of specific module with their specific actions to View, Create New, Modify, Delete, Print etc.
For Example: You want to give rights to View and Create Customer only. Then enable the check box against Customer for Allowed and New Action. User will not be permitted for any other action for Customer and no other Master will be visible to User.
: As per the permissions provided to User for Report Module from Manage User will be displayed and you can allow for each Report of that module with their specific actions to View, Print, Export, and Configure etc.
For Example: Report Module rights for Sales are given to User and you want to give rights to View and Print Sales Invoice Register only. Then enable the check box against Sales Invoice Register for Allowed and Print Action. User will not be permitted for any other action for Sales invoice Register and no other Report will be visible to User.
